Calling all Summer Reading families
and Batman Fans!

Batman was our constant companion this summer, always letting you know where the sign up forms were, and where we would be meeting. Alas, Summer Reading is over, and Batman needs a new place to live!

So many people want Batman to come and live with them, we decided to have a raffle.

The raffle will run between Monday, August 27th until Tuesday, September 4th.

Tickets may be purchased at the front desk. Each ticket will cost 25 cents, or you can get 5 for $1.00.

Summer Reading Sign Language Program

Combined Summer Reading groups tonight!

Elementary kids, teens and parents will be meeting at Theater 101 for a Sign Language program with Colleen Powers. (Look for Batman in the doorway!)

After the class, we'll be having a pizza party.

Everything starts at 6:30, hope to see you all there!

This program was supported in part by Federal Library Services and Technology Act funds, awarded to the New York State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.

Pajama Party!

Summer Reading kids, it's time for a Pajama Party at the library tonight!

Chris Reidl will be here to tell us bedtime stories, and we'll have a snack.

Don't forget to bring your completed reading logs.

See you soon!

Summer Reading

Just a reminder, there is no Summer Reading program tonight.

Remember all the fun we had with the fire truck? Well Friday night, there is going to be a HUGE parade on Main Street for the Western New York Fireman's Convention.

The parade starts at 7pm, so come on down to Main Street and see all the different trucks.

We'll resume Summer Reading program next week with a Pajama Party!

Summer Reading Time!

Tonight, Magician Steve Ingram will be performing.

We will meet at Theater 101, program begins at 6:30pm, and is for all ages.

Batman will be there waiting at the door!

Don't forget to bring your summer reading logs and leave yourself a little time to stop by the library before the show to pick up a new stack of books for the week.

This program was supported in part by Federal Library Services and Technology Act funds, awarded to the New York State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.

Friends With Feathers Photographs

"Hawkman" Ron Walker presents Friends with Feathers.

Mr. Walker holds everyone's attention.

Many thanks to Rick and Cathie Barry for opening Theater 101 for our use. Over 70 in attendance!

Wow! Summer Reading Kick-Off Success

Awesome start to the Summer Reading Program!

We had 70 people turn out for the Friends of Feathers program Thursday night. What a terrific way to give the Hawkman a send-off as he goes into retirement!

This Thursday's theme is "Dream Big!" Summer Reading Staff has a terrific story and craft lined up for our elementary school kids. Don't forget to fill in your reading logs and bring them back. ;o)

Summer Reading Update!

*SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT TONIGHT'S PROGRAM*

Due to a huge response to this evening's Friend's With Feathers program, we are moving the meeting location a couple doors down to Theater 101.

If you're unfamiliar with Theater 101, it is on the same side of the street as the library, and is walking distance, so you can park here and walk over.

Batman will be just inside the door!
