New Year's Even Information

to remember for 

New Year's Eve! 

Preschool Story Hour will go on as regularly scheduled. Mrs. Gall is hoping to see all of our regulars (and maybe a few guests?) at 10:30am.

We will have a New Year's Eve party for children of all ages starting at 1:30pm on Tuesday. Snacks will be provided. If you remember last year, we had a terrific time! Hope to see you all there.

Following the party, the library will be closing early. We will remain open until 5pm.

Thank you all for another wonderful year full of books and learning. The staff of the Mount Morris Library is looking forward to more great things in 2014!

Online Picture Books

Our preschool story time is held every Tuesday during the school year, at 10:30am. 

 

To hold you over between story time meetings, I found a great site that you might enjoy. It is called Storyline Online, and is a project of the Screen Actors Guild. It's a beautiful, bright site, where your kids can click on a picture book, and have it read by a celebrity. You can search by title, author or reader. Click on a book, and it opens a YouTube video within the page. Lots of books to choose from!

~Batman Raffle is moving along! If you want a chance at winning the full-size cut out of the Dark Knight, you can buy tickets at the Mount Morris Library. Cost is 25 cents per ticket, so even our smallest patrons can get a shot at winning!

The winner will be chosen on Tuesday, September 4th!
